Mission Statement

The mission of the ACCS Crime Stoppers Program is to function as a deterrent to crime by increasing the probability that criminals will be arrested and convicted through the use of anonymous tips. The goal of ACCS is to bring the perpetrator of a crime into the Criminal Justice System by using the combined resources of citizens, media, and law enforcement.

About Our Program

Archuleta County Crime Stoppers Inc. is a non-profit organization that is affiliated with the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Department, Pagosa Springs Police Department and nationally with Crime Stoppers USA. Archuleta County Crime Stoppers is a partnership between the community, the media and law enforcement.

Crime Stoppers relies on a volunteer Board of Directors and tax deductible contributions from businesses, corporations, individuals, and service organizations. We solicit donations from organizations and citizens in order to pay rewards to people who have provided information concerning criminal activity and forwarded such information to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
